Description

Antique Victorian Oak Box Settle and dating from around 1880. It has a triple carved pediment top separated by block and turned finials above a panelled back rest with four fielded panels and a plank seat which raises to reveal a deep storage area. It has turned armrests on a turned bulbous support with turned finial to the top. The base has three fielded panels to the front and sides and it is hand and peg joined.

Measures: 50" high to backrest x seat height 19" x 22.5" deep x 60" wide

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
