Description

Antique Edwardian Oak Inlaid Double Bed Stead and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality oak and with the head and footboard being identical and having a moulded top rail inlaid with ebony chequered frieze above an oak chevron cut panel and to the centre is a stunning inlaid motife in the Adams style with urn and fruit in ebony, mother of pearl and tulip and olive woods. It has ebony stringing to the side posts and it has its original screw in side rails and stands on squared legs on castors. Takes a standard double mattress .

Measures: 50" high to headboard x 34" high to footboard x 54" wide x 81" long

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
