Description

Antique Victorian Burr Walnut work or sewing table and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality Burr Walnut with a shaped top which is quarter veneered and inlaid with fine stringing above a deep frieze with single drawer to the centre which is inlaid with satinwood sand ebony and with working key. The drawer has assorted compartments for sewing requirements etc. below this is a sliding work box with floral inlay of satinwood. It stands on ring turned supports with carved cup and cover leading to carved cabriole legs and feet and joined by a turned stretcher.

Measures 27.5" high x 16" deep x 25" wide

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
