Description

Antique Edwardian Mahogany inlaid Dressing table in the Sheraton style and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a shaped and beveled mirror set within a mahogany frame with shaped side supports joined by a shaped and inlaid banded frieze with shelf above one long drawer and two short drawers all of which are mahogany lined with brass handles and with inlaid banding. The table top of serpentine shape with a moulded edge and inlaid banding above a bowed single drawer to the centre with shaped frieze below and on either side is a deep drawer. All of the drawers are mahogany lined with brass handles and with inlaid banding to the fronts. It stands on squared tapering legs. The top removes for ease of transporting .

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
