Description

Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Library or Desk Chair and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany with all the rails, legs and arms with fine inlaid stringing. It has a squared top rail above carved and pierced Ivy with a central inlaid panel of faience design and above a pierced central back splat leading to further carved moulding of scrolled Ivy leaf. It has shepherds crook shaped armrests and a stuff over seat upholstered in crimson velvet and leading to straight squared and tapering legs on a spade foot.

Measures 40" high x seat height 18" x 22" deep x 21.5" wide

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
