Description

Antique Regency Mahogany Side Cabinet with Ormolu Sphinx Mounts and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a squared edge to the top above a frieze drawer with brass inlay and brass inlaid motif to each side. This is above a panelled flamed mahogany door with brass inlay and with working key and internal shelf. To each side is a bowed column with brass stringing and ormolu mounted Sphinx heads to the top and ormolu mounted feet to the bottom. It stands on squared tapering legs.

Measures 43.5" tall x 19" deep x 18" wide


In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
