Description

A Waring and Gillows Burr Walnut Double Wardrobe and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality burr walnut it has a double dome cornice top above two full length arched panelled doors with cross banded edges and brass handles . The doors are s parlayed by a feature cross cut panel to the centre. It stands on a plinth base with short cabriole legs on a pad foot.
Internally it is all hanging with a small shelf to the top of one side and there is a full length mirror to the back of one of the doors. It also carries its original Waring And Gillow Name plate.
Separates for ease of transporting.

Measures 79" high x 21" deep x 50" wide and internal depth 18.5"
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
