Description

Antique Victorian Large Four Door Mahogany Breakfront Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a deep moulded cornice top above a cross banded frieze and to the Breakfront centre there are two full length arched mirrored doors with keys and flanked on either side by a full length arched moulded panelled door with keys. Internally and to the centre there are four sliding removable tray drawers above two short drawers and two long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with moulded knob handles. To each end there is full length hanging space with original mahogany hooks and hanging rail. The whole standing on a deep plinth base.

Measures 83" high x 26" deep ( centre) x 21" deep ( each end) x 98" wide.
Internal depth 22" (centre) x 18" deep (each end)

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
