Description

Antique Regency Mahogany Clothes Press and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with dental moulding above two panelled doors with carved spanderall to each corner and brass divider to the centre. Internally it has its original lining and hanging rail. To the base with moulded edge above two short false fronted drawers and two long graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with original brass handles. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet.
The top separates for ease of transporting.

Measures 81" high x 23.5" deep x internal depth 21.5" x width 50"

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
