Description

Antique Edwardian Satinwood inlaid Double Bed and dating from around c1900. Constructed from quality satinwood both the head and foot board are the same having a serpentine shaped top rail which is inlaid and strung, below are three marquetry panels, the central panel is beautifully inlaid in satinwood, mahogany,fruitwood and mother of pearl. The bed stands on square legs on castors and has it's original iron side rails. Takes a standard double mattress.

Measures49" high to head x 39" high to foot x 80" deep x 54" wide

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
