Description

Antique George II Oak Mule Chest and dating from around c1750. Constructed from quality oak it has a moulded edge to the plank top . To the front is a brass lock escutcheon above three fielded panels and below are two drawers both of which are oak lined with brass handles and lock escutcheons and have a mahogany crossbanded edge to the fronts. It stands on stile feet and is peg joined throughout. The chest has paneled sides and back and internally has its original candle box.

Measures 32" high x 22" deep x 50" wide

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
