Description

Antique George III Mahogany Clothes Press and dating from around 1780. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with Greek key moulding with a walnut frieze. Below are two moulded paneled doors with internal brass hanging rail. The base is moulded to the top and has three long graduated drawers all of which are oak lined with original brass handles. It stands on shaped bracket feet and separates into three parts for ease of transport.

Measures 75" high x 22" deep x 20" internal depth (top) x 48" wide

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
