Description

Antique Victorian Ebonised and Gilt Tub Chair and dating from around 1880. The chair has a deeply padded button roll back and padded arms which sit on ebonised and gilt turned spindle supports. It has front arm supports which are beautifully carved and curved and lead down to form a turned leg on castors. The seat is deeply padded and buttoned and covered in a damask fabric all of which is in very good condition. All of the carving on the chair is beautifully picked out with gilt work.

Measures 33" height to back x 17" height to seat x 28" deep x 26" wide

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
