Description

Antique Victorian Ebonised and Gilt Sofa and dating from around 1880. The sofa has a deeply padded button back which sits on ebonised and gilt turned spindle supports. It has front arm supports which are beautifully carved and tuned and lead down to form a turned leg on castors. The seat is deeply padded and buttoned and covered in a damask fabric all of which is in very good condition. All of the carving on the sofa is beautifully picked out with gilt work.

Measures 31" high x 17" height to back x 27" deep x 61" wide

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
