Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Large Spoon Back Easy Armchair and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a deep moulded mahogany frame above a deep button back rest and scrolled arms with carved mahogany front supports incorporating a shaped cabriole leg on a carved scroll foot. It has a deep stuff over seat above a serpentine shaped moulded skirt. The chair has been recovered in a contemporary fabric keeping its original springing and horsehair filling all of which is in very good condition.

MEASURES 40" HIGH X SEAT HEIGHT 17" X 34" DEEP X 30" WIDE

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
