Description

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Three Piece Bedroom Suite and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany and consisting of a small Triple Wardrobe, Matching Dressing Table and Chest of Drawers.

The Wardrobe has a flared cornice top with a deep frieze with fine inlaid satinwood stringing above a central oval bevelled mirrored door and flanked on either side by a single oval moulded panelled door both of which have a strung edge and central satinwood inlaid panel . To the base there are two deep drawers both of which are oak lined and with fine stringing to the fronts with brass handles. Internally to the left and centre is a brass hanging rail and to the right side is one shelf with four slide trays below. It stands on a deep plinth base and Separates for ease of transporting.
Measures 81" high x 22" deep x internal depth 18" x 65" wide

The Dressing Table Chest has an oval bevelled mirror set within a mahogany and satinwood strung frame and shaped supports each having a brass finial to the top. It has moulded edge to the top with satinwood stringing. There are two short drawers over two long graduated drawers all of which are oak lined with brass handles and with fine inlaid stringing to the fronts. It stands on squared and tapering strung legs on original castors.

Measures 64" high to top of mirror x 32" high to table top x 20" deep x 42" wide

The matching chest of drawers has a low gallery back and a moulded and satinwood strung edge to the top with two short drawers over three long graduated drawers all of which are oak lined with brass handles and with fine stringing to the fronts. It stands on squared, strung and tapering legs.
Measures 43" high x 20" deep x 42" wide

A lovely Antique Edwardian Three Piece Bedroom Suite and in very good original condition with a lovely age deepened colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
