Description

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Doube Bed and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality solid mahogany it has Architectural squared top posts joined by downswept top rail ( both head and footboards mirror each other) and with a central panel with inlaid stringing to the edges and oval panel to the centre. To either side there are four vertical slats again finely strung with satinwood and it stands on castors and has its original screw in side irons.

Takes a standard double matress

We are able to make wooden base slatts for the matress to sit on a a cost of £50.

Measures 56" high to headboard x 44" high to footboard x 54" wide x 78" long

In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany and oozes all the charm and character of the period.
