Description

Antique Victorian Walnut Davenport Desk and dating from around c1880. Constructed from quality walnut it has a leather writing surface with gold embossed edge to the top with a raised pen tray to the back which is inlaid to the lid. The writing surface lifts to reveal a small drawer and two pigeon holes and has a working key. The front of the desk has a beautifully inlaid panel. To one side are four oak lined drawers with original knob handles this is mirrored at the other side with false drawers. It stands on shaped supports on castors.

Measures 33" high x 21" deep x 22" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
