Description

Antique French Carved Oak Coffer and dating from around 1820. Constructed from quality oak it has a plank top with original iron hinges. To the front are four carved panels and it is carved down each side. The coffer has its original key, lock plate and lock and internally a candle box with lid. It stands on stile feet and is peg joined throughout.

Measures 28" high x 24" deep x 49" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
