Description

Antique Georgian Mahogany Library or Desk Chair and dating from around George 111 c1790. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a carved top rail to the shield shaped back above a pierced and shaped carved central back splat. With reeded shepherds crook armrests on a curved support and a stuff over seat covered in a quality fabric totally in keeping with the period. It stands on squared reeded and tapering legs joined by a'H' stretcher.

Measures 37" high x seat height 17" x 22" deep x 26" wide

A lovely Georgian Mahogany Chair of good proportions and with a lovely deep colour and original patination to the mahogany and in very good condition oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
