Description

Antique 17th Century Oak Coffer and dating from around the time of the Restoration Period of James 11 c1680. Constructed from quality Oak it has a plank top with a moulded edge. To the front are two fielded panels and steel lock escutcheon. The coffer has panelled sides and a plank back standing on stile feet. It is hand & peg joined throughout.

Measures 28" high x 25 "deep x 48" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
