French 19th Century Oak Cupboard Original Glass

Description

Antique 19th Century French Oak Cupboard or Bookcase and dating from around 1880. Constructed form solid oak it has a cornice top above a deep panelled frieze with moulded patera to each side above two full length doors with brass escutcheon and working key and with original mottled green glass panels above a smaller moulded panel and internally there are four adjustable shelves. It has reeded side supports and it stands on a deep plinth base with moulded patera to each side and on small bun feet. Dismantles for ease of transporting.

Measures 76" high x 18" deep ( internal depth 15") x 41" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
