Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a mirror back with shaped and moulded mahogany frame with pierced and carved cartouche to the centre and pierced and carved moulded supports to each side. The base has a moulded edge to the top above two frieze drawers with moulded panels and both of which are mahogany lined. There are three carved corbal supports to the top and base either side of two arched panelled doors. Internally to one side there is a shelf and to the other side there is a deep cellaret drawer. It stands on a deep plinth base.
The mirror back removes if required and for ease of transporting.

Measures 62" high to top of mirror x 35" high to top of base x 20" deep x 59" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
