Description

Gorgeous Antique Victorian Mahogany Sewing Work Box Table in the Regency style and dating form around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a rounded edge to the oval top above a deep frieze with ornate brass escutcheon and working key. It has its original pleated satin covered box set within a mahogany frame leading to lovely cabriole legs. Internally there are various compartments and to the centre there is a mahogany lid with ornate brass handle which covers a deep well for wools etc.

Measures 29.5" high x 16.5" deep x 21.5" wide


In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
