Description

Super quality early Victorian mahogany breakfront wardrobe in original un-touched condition. The timbers used, especially on the front panels are equisite, they almost look like diseased mahogany. The wardrobe breaks down into five pieces for moving and is then screwed together once in place. The wardrobe stands on a plinth base with inverted quarter round mould to the top. There is a very nice stop quarter column type moulding to all the corners of the front parts. The wardrobe has three doors with the middle one being a mirror door. The wardrobe has a very nice shaped cornice to the top.

Fully fitted inside which is all original. The middle section is fitted with drawers to the bottom half and sliding trays to the top section. Both the end sections are for full length hanging, the right hand side has a lift top hat section to the base whilst the left hand side has a deep drawer with a sliding shoe guard above.

The wardrobe is in very good condition with hardly a mark on it. There are a couple of very minor veneer chips mainly to the back of the plinth. The only slight damage I can see is to the pine base inside on the right hand side at the bottom but this can only be seen when the door is opened.

SIZES 81" wide at the base (slightly more at the top. 23" deep on the ends, 26" deep in the middle. 86" high
