Mid 19th century trinket box. Features a handpainted porcelain lid decorated with a period dressed courting couple with a handpainted country house scene on the interior of the lid.The main body of the box is gilt metal decorated with enamel flowers and the lid fastens with a clip. The interior is lined with cream deep button style satin. In very good condition, no damage or restoration to the porcelain. Length 9cm.Height 6cm.Width 5cm.(P.B C49)
