18th century South Staffordshire enamel patch box. Features a handpainted decoration of a lady with an anchor and a horn of plenty,with the inscription of "Have blessings of peace,our commerce increase" around the edge of the lid. Pink enamel base and brass edge and hinge.Some slight damage to the enamel decoration on the lid,hinge in working order. Measures 3.5cm x 3cm x 1 5cm. (D.K.C36)
