A charming rustic Swiss fruitwood stick barometer, G. Kramer, Zurich, dated 1860-80.

The trunk has an urn surmount and fluted plinth over an exposed main tube, with the printed paper scale (torn) reading from 25 to 28 inches with French and German text.

There is a brass vernier arm beside and a rectangular cistern casing with sliding front cover.
