An early 1900s French striking repeating 8-day carriage clock, the corniche-style case newly rAn early 1900s French striking repeating 8-day carriage clock, the corniche-style case newly regilded and presented as new.

The perfect white enamel dial has good clear Roman numerals with a minute track. It is signed for the original retailer, Boddington & Co., 38 King Street, Manchester. A quality refinement is the angled gilt rectangular border to the dial fills the gap where usually there is a void.

The 8-day striking and repeating movement strikes the hours and the passing of the half hour on a gong. Depressing the button on the top of the case will repeat the last hour struck. The movement retains its original silvered platform.

Matching gilt fleur-de-lys lancet hands.

Perfect beveled glasses to all sides and top.

Height: 6¾ inches with the carrying handle up.
