Description

A very good Edwardian period inlaid mahogany 9 drawer pedestal desk. Well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. Embellished with inlaid satinwood banding to the top, front and drawer fronts. The top of the desk fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface complete with gilt tooling to the surrounds. With an arrangement of 1 long central drawer flanked by 2 sets of 4 shorter drawers. All fitted with their charming original brass handles and all lockable (key supplied). This desk is finished to the rear so could be free-standing with a room if desired. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition. Splits into 3 sections for ease of installation.
