Description

A charming late 19th century French mahogany side cabinet in the manner of Vernis Martin. Well constructed in solid mahogany with a rouge varigated marble top. The top surrounded by a pierced brass open fretwork gallery. Of bow fronted form with a single drawer above a single cupboard door. Both are lockable (keys supplied), the cupboard door opens to reveal a shelved interior. With a series of 3 hand painted panels, the central one depicting a neo-classical scene of a pair of lovers. Embellished with crisply cast gilt metal mounts throughout. The legs united by an under-tier and with an inset mirror back. Offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home.
