A beautiful French cabinet , or bookcase, in stunning kingwood. Of fine construction with a mahogany carcas and stunning applied kingwood veneers. The veneers are of the highest quality and have been laid to form geometric patters which are really eye-catching. There is a pair of glazed doors which open to access a display space with a single shelf (adjustable). Below this are a pair of drawers and to the bottom , a pair of cupboard doors, which open to reveal a storage space with two adjustable shelves. All openings are lockable (key supplied) and fitted with their original brass hardware. The whole cabinet is surmounted by a varigated marble top (removable for transit). This item of furniture would sit well in many different rooms with the modern home and could be used equally well to display valuable or books. It is offered for sale in excellent condition. It has a wonderful colour and patina and is ready to go straight into the home.
