Description

This is a stylish Art Deco Chrome Shopping List Cover from the 1930s. The front and back are engine turned with the front having odeon style decoration down the centre beneath a cartouche in which Shopping List is elegantly engraved. There are two little brackets inside for holding a small notebook.

There are no marks of any kind on the cover so we cannot say who made it but it is British and dates to around the 1930s.

Condition is very good, with no dings or dents and just the superficial surface wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. The hinge works smoothly. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The holder measures 8.9cm / 3.5ins by 5.4cm / 2.1ins and weighs 40.5g / 1.43oz.
