Description

A cast iron inkwell which depicts the head of George Armstrong Custer, who was a United States Cavalry commander during the American Civil War, made famous when he died at the Little Big Horn on June 25th 1876. A rare and unusual cast iron figural ink well that celebrates a famous American General, who met his untimely end at 36 years of age. Missing the glass reservoir housed in a cavity beneath the hinged hat. Which has a hole in it to accommodate the quill or pen as required. Dimensions: 20 cm wide X 18.5 cm wide x 11 cm tall
