Description

Description: Pair of Napoleon III pedestals in mahogany featherbed with a marble top and gilded bronze inserts.

The circular white marble top is surrounded by a finely chiseled gilded bronze trim.

The band beneath the top is accented with bronze elements with a leafy motif alternating with rosettes.

The four square-section feet are connected by a circular top topped with bronze feral paws.

General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional shellac and alcohol method.

Origin: France, second half of the 19th century.

Dimensions: Diameter 40cm. Height 108cm.
