Description

Antique centerpiece table made of fine exotic woods, from Nice, France.

The oval biscuit shape with recessed mixtilinear edges features a large medallion with figures in traditional dress at the center.

The entire edge of the top is inlaid with floral and grotesque motifs alternating with masks at the protrusions.

The central trunk is highlighted by a dense inlay and rests on a mixtilinear base topped with four inlaid cabriolet feet.

Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional shellac and alcohol method.

Origin: Nice, 19th century.
