Description

Description: Antique Dutch chest of drawers made of fine exotic woods, dating back to the early 19th century.

The front features a drop-leaf door containing a series of drawers and compartments entirely inlaid with a floral motif.

Below the drop-leaf door are three rounded drawers highlighted by expertly chased gilded bronze escutcheons.

A mixtilinear band with a central frieze connects the two lion's paws.

Origin: Holland, 19th century.

Dimensions: 66 x 50 x 106 cm.

Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional shellac and alcohol method.
