Good Example of a Mamod Steam Traction Engine model T.E.1.A in its original box.
This model is dated 1967,& was only made in this format for one year "1967 to 1968". The Carton was changed to Blue in 1968 & also the whistle was changed to a push button.
The Engine is powered by methylated spirt.
The engine comes complete with all original parts as can be seen in photograph.
The engine has not been fired up for approx 30 years since the death of its former owner who was a steam enthusiast who owned a full sized steam roller.
As one can expect with the age & use there are minor marks to the canopy as can be seen in the photograph.
Operating instructions are on the side of the box.
The engine was in full working order prior to going into storage.
