19th century country Armchair with tulip foot, made in the Ormskirk area of Lancashire from Alderwood. This chair was designed with low arms to allow a mother to nurse her child.The seat has been constructed in an interesting design as can be seen from the photographs.
Would look great in a corner of a room.
