Very rare spindle back rush seated corner chair made in liverpool in the early 19th century for wealthy merchants and ship owners. In over 35 years of business we have handled a few examples of side and armchairs from this workshop but never a corner chair. Please note the fine spindles and shaping to the bow back. Fabulous original colour. Seat has been rerushed in the traditional way giving a life time of use.DateEarly 18th Century :
