Description
An elegant english regency mahogany open topped bookcase with original brass grille in base. The open top has 2 original fully adjustable shelves. The base has 2 opening doors with original key, the center panel being fixed allowing access from either door. The silk fabric is in excellent condition. There is ebony string inlay to the base. The short turned legs are original as is the polish. Reeded columns to top and bottom add to the simple elegance of the bookcase.DateEarly 18th Century :
