Description

Superb mid 19th century camel back scroll armed country house sofa in the style of chippendale. The exterior mahogany frame showing on sides front and arm supports having blind fretwork and gadrooning. 3 hairy paw feet with shell motif on knees, 2 plain cab feet at back. Upholstered in classic country house fabric which is in very good order. ( not the original fabric ) the 3 cushions and seat cushion are feather filled. Note the very generous proportions of this couch, this really is an item that you can curl up on infront of a log fire.
