Original Illustration By Roger Oldham 1888.
Drawn when he was 17 years old, these were some of his favorite characters from Punch. He was a student at RA from January 1893 to February 1896. He was a Manchester Architect & book illustrator before being killed in 1916 in the Great War. The print is in its original black & gilt frame which has 2 brass roundels at the top corners 7 2 mother of pearl square studs in the lower corners.The rear of the frame has historic woodworm which has been treated as a precaution.
Condition used but good.
Size of frame 19.25" by 23.50" measurements include the extensions to frame.
