Antique Ships Deck Quoits.
The set comprises of 2 wooden pins made of English Ash set into circular Cast Iron bases. There are 11 hessian rope quoits which show the workmanship of a skilled sailor.
These would have been for the entertainment of passengers & crew on early steamships. A rare survivor of a bygone age.
Condition very good for age, still usable.Minor historic worm to one pin but being a hardwood no problem.
Size height 13.50", base 82 diameter, quoits 7" diameter.
