Description
Antique Royal Navy Mess Plate 1910.The Royal Navy went to general mess from 1907 after which all crockery through out the navy was the same.
This soup plate carries the Blue Naval crest with crown above.
The soup plate is back stamped with the Royal Navy Government inspection & approved stamp consisting of a capital A above a fouled Anchor with the inspection number 5 below.
The plate has the impressed stamp for copeland spode & is dated 1910.
Condition is very good with clean crisp marks.
