Regency Copper Coal Box.
Fabulous Copper Coal Box with Griffin heads at each side to hold the ring handles. The paw feet are very good examples. The lid has fluted raised decoration & is complemented by the ball & claw handle.The neck of the coal box has a riveted effect on the collar.
The box has a few dents as one can expect for an item of this age. One ring is slightly small than the other.
This is a very good example of the workmanship of the day.
