Antique Adjustable Iron Pot Hook / Fire Jack.Blacksmith made Iron Fire Jack, fully adjustable to allow the cook to lower or lift the pot or kettle over the fire. In the 18th century cooking was always over an open fire. These Jacks would be found in every home & tavern.
We have kept this in untouched condition.
Size 44.50" extended, closed 35.50" 8 teeth.
