Antique Adjustable Iron Pot Hook / Fire Jack.Every dwelling place from a peasants hovel to a large grand house would use these jacks for cooking purposes. Cooking was over open fires and these jacks are fully adjustable to enable the cook to control the heat.They would have been made by a local Blacksmith & the design was universal as it worked perfectly.
We have left it in untouched condition.
Size fully extended 67", closed 51", please note the generous length. Number of teeth 10.
