Antique French Embossed Brass Grape Hod.
The Brass Grape Hod was used for collecting the harvest from the vines in the 19th century. This would have come from a wealthy chateau as vey few were made from brass.
This would make a fabulous log bin or for the more adventuress it would be very decorative with a large flower display.
The body of the grape hod shows 2 workers carrying grapes, the scene bordered with elaborate detail.
Condition is excellent.
Size, height at front 23.25", at back 32.35".
the opeing is 13" by 12"
