Quartet of Antique Carved Musicians.
These are substantially carved & are all of a good weight.
They are carved from Oak.Each figure is dressed in Medieval costume. Each carving has a Greenman carving at the top followed by the musician who's feet are resting on a platform of a kind of fleur de lis.Each musician is holding a different instrument.Good depth of carving. Good original colour & patination.
These were carved in the early part of the 19th century & would have been attached to an item of furniture, fireplace or panelling.
